CALL FOR THEATRE ARTISTS OF ALL TYPES: Actors, Designers, and Production Staff

BOWER THEATRE ENSEMBLE is seeking designers, actors, and production staff to create its 2018 ensemble.

To apply for any of these positions, please submit the application form and required material via our website by October 31, 2017.

Bower Theatre Ensemble is a new non-equity theatre ensemble aimed at creating a space for Chicago theatre artists to grow and make engaging work. To facilitate this, the ensemble is structured differently to many other theatre companies. A key element is that each artist in the ensemble will be required to commit to the ensemble for one season, consisting of 2 productions and a fundraiser. For each production, an artist will take on a different role depending on their preferences. There is more information on this structure at Each ensemble member will receive a stipend at the end of the season.
