The Visiting Artist Series at the School of Cinematic Arts, DePaul University presents:

Chasing Coral - FREE SCREENING 

(Sundance, Hotdocs, SXSW)

Coral reefs around the world are vanishing at an unprecedented rate. A team of divers, photographers and scientists set out on a thrilling ocean adventure to discover why and to reveal the underwater mystery to the world. By the team behind "Chasing Ice."

Followed by a panel with producer Larissa Rhodes and Topside Cinematographer Mark Crawford

Larissa Rhodes is a film producer and the Director of Creative Development at Exposure Labs, where she develops projects motivated by social impact. Most recently, she produced Chasing Coral, a feature film following a team of adventurers trying to reveal how the oceans are changing. It will premiere at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival, along with a VR film. Rhodes previously worked on the Emmy® Award-winning documentary, Chasing Ice. She holds an MFA in Film from Columbia University and a BFA & BA from the University of Colorado in Film Studies and International Spanish for the Professions.
