Time commitment:   14-25 hrs/week

Compensation:         Course credit available; $30 travel stipend per week


Brief description of duties:

  • Assist in the creation and execution of mainstream advertising, signage, and promotional materials
  • Conduct best practice research to identify opportunities for marketing campaigns
  • Develop copy for e-marketing and online campaigns
  • Develop creative briefs for direct marketing projects
  • Identify, initiate, and execute promotional opportunities
  • Assist in sales tracking
  • Coordinate and process promotional partner ticketing needs
  • Coordinate needs and assist in day-of operations for special events
  • Assist other members of the marketing team as assigned
  • Assist with the Lyric University Ambassador program
Skills & Qualifications: 

Required skills:

  • Pursuing undergraduate studies in marketing, communications, or related field
  • Interest in opera or the arts
  • Must be a self-starter, detail oriented, have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills  
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literacy is required, with an emphasis in Microsoft Suite and Google Drive
