The Marketing Intern will assist or spearhead a variety of projects related to getting the word out about the festival to press and potential/past patrons via a variety of channels, including online, in print and in person. The Intern will report to the Marketing and Publicity Managers.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
● Drafting and/or editing copy for press releases, advertisements, email blasts,
social media posts (Facebook, Twitter, blog) and communications with
● Researching potential advertising opportunities and gather other information
pertinent to marketing strategy and will maintain records/files related to
● Generating excitement about what’s happening at the festival and capturing
useful information about patrons and artists to feed future marketing
● Distributing posters and flyers around the local businesses and coffee
shops, attending events, occasional administrative tasks, etc.
Time Commitment: Hours for this internship are flexible. The timeline for this internship is approximately June – September 2017.
