Program Coordinator Position

Music Program/Marketing Coordinator

 
Non-profit Organization is currently seeking a Program & Marketing Coordinator. Coordinator work will include creating and implementing marketing campaigns, press releases, cross-promotions with other businesses, relationship-building, setting up and attending meetings, general outreach, etc.
 

Desired Skills and Experience 

 
- Prior experience in sales, promotions, or marketing 
- Experience developing a new business
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to conduct web searches for research purposes, ability to use Excel, work smart phone devices, computer literate 
- Flexibility and ability to work independently
- Music/instrument experience (but not necessary)

Responsibilities

 
- Work closely with Directors to create marketing strategies and implementations
- Work closely with faculty, coordinate schedules, help with curriculum, and helping faculty with what they need
- Customer acquisition and retention-maintain mailing lists for renters, students, audience, and press
- Driving sales and build brand recognition through promotional campaigns
- Gain working knowledge of company products and services
- Develop solution-based sales relationship by identifying problem areas for potential client
- Contact prospective clients and detail TM services, utilizing persuasive sales techniques
- Conduct research on avenues for increasing revenue 
- Propose plans for more effective marketing and implementations
- Perform other duties or special projects as assigned
- 20 hours per week 
- Schedule is flexible and work is based online, phone, sale meetings, and in-person staff meetings
