Technical Interns help to set up sound, projection and lighting equipment, working closely with the Technical Director to make sure festival set-up and teardown happens in the allotted time frame. Technical Interns will then be scheduled in shifts throughout the festival (August 31 – September 11, 2016) to be on-hand if an issue with equipment comes up. Knowledge of proper use of power & hand tools is a major plus. It’s best for this intern to enjoy working with their hands and getting dirty. Technical Interns report to the Technical Director.
Time Commitment: The Technical Internship requires several sessions of training and inventory/prep work during the weeks leading up to the festival. Technical Interns must be available all day for load-in and strike and on weekday evenings and all day weekends during the festival. Time commitment is approximately August 26 – September 14, 2016.
